API Legal Outreach partners with community-based organizations including the Pilipino Bayanihan Resource Center, Bayanihan Community Center, Chinatown Community Development, Canon Kip Senior Center, Vet Equity Center, Filipinos for Justice, 1st Mongolian Christian Church, and other service providers to hold legal clinics that target specific underserved populations - particularly, the elderly and newer API immigrant populations. With the involvement of community-based organizational staff, volunteers, volunteer attorneys, law students, and interpreters, API Legal Outreach can provide free legal counseling, referrals, and brief legal services to many individuals who otherwise may not have accessed or received such assistance.
