National Asian American Trivia Championships

It’s back! Join us on Saturday, April 25 at 6:30 PM at JCCCNC in San Francisco for a night of trivia, community, and bragging rights. We’re covering history, pop culture, social justice, and more — with at least 20% of questions on Asian Americans, people of color, and API Legal Outreach’s legacy.

Bring a team of 8–10 or come solo — we’ll try and find you a team in need. Mix it up with different ages, backgrounds, and tastes for the best shot to win it all. Dinner’s handled in APILO style: house-made bento boxes are available to pre-order. And if your business wants to stand up for social justice, sponsorship opportunities are open with benefits galore!

House-made Japanese bento boxes are available for $25 and must be pre-ordered by Wednesday, April 22 at noon. They’re cooked to order, so don’t wait. Snacks and drinks will also be available at the event.

How It Works

Teams must have 8 players minimum and may not exceed 10. Seating is assigned by sponsorship level and ticket purchase date — seating is limited, so get your deposit in early.

Rounds cover history, pop culture, social justice, and more — with at least 20% of questions focused on Asian Americans, people of color, and API Legal Outreach’s 51-year legacy. Compete through multiple rounds with a 10–15 minute intermission.

The sharpest team wins bragging rights and prizes. Build your team with diverse ages, backgrounds, and tastes — strategy counts. No electronic devices during play.

The Asian American Trivia Championships is a fundraising event benefiting API Legal Outreach (APILO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving immigrants, seniors, youth, and other vulnerable communities in the Bay Area since 1975.
